Round 1
Semyonov narrowly dodges a cross from Richard Renaud, but falls catching him in his guard. "Cookie Monster" passes through Semyonovs guard into mount. Tosya gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Tosya Semyonov slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Tosya, but Richard Renaud is able to muscle through for a takedown. Renaud passes through Tosya Semyonovs guard into mount. Tosya Semyonov gets pummeled by the fists of "Cookie Monster". Tosya Semyonov gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Richard peppers Tosya with several shots to the face. Richard tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Tosya Semyonov snaps back the head of Richard Renaud with a stiff jab. Richard Renaud throws a cross that easily dodged by Tosya Semyonov. Semyonov executes a single leg giving him the back of Renaud. Renaud rolls back into being mounted. Tosya maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Semyonov is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Richard is now caught in Semyonovs guard.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Tosya Semyonov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Cookie Monster". The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Tosya Semyonov decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Renaud with him. Semyonov attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Richard slips out at the last moment. Tosya is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Renaud. Richard Renaud tries to pass guard but Tosya Semyonov stops him with a well timed punch. Semyonov sinks a deep kimura, but Richard slides out. This gives Semyonov the chance to switch to half guard. The round comes to an end.
