Round 1 Almir Begovic keeps Wu at a distance with some well timed jabs. Bingwen Wu moves in to press the action, but Almir lands a heavy back kick. Bingwen takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Begovic connects with a series of punches forcing Bingwen Wu into a clinch. Almir Begovic is jockeying for position in the clinch. Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Almir attempts a striking combination, but Wu forces the clinch. Bingwen works to Begovics back while standing. Bingwen throws a couple of outside shots until Almir is able to work his way back to the clinch. Almir throws a couple of light hooks but Bingwen lands a large outer drop and positions to side mount. Round 3 Almir dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Begovic connects with a series of punches forcing Wu into a clinch. Wu works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Begovic takes Bingwen Wus back standing. Wu begins to isolate an arm but Begovic executes a trip which puts him in half guard. Almir hits Bingwen Wu with some punches to the side of the head. Almir is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 3 is finished.
