Round 1 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "Gods Gift" lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Tosya Semyonov. Both fighters begin to exchange "Gods Gift" catches Semyonov with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Semyonov gather himself. Semyonov says he is ok and the fight continues. Dave Henderson connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Tosya. Tosya is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. Henderson explodes forward with a push kick that puts Tosya on the canvas. A solid kick bruises the leg of Tosya. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Henderson connects with a teep to the face of Tosya. Dave Henderson throws a crisp jab, but Tosya Semyonov slips it and moves in for the clinch. Semyonov works Dave into the cage from the clinch. Semyonov presses his head under Daves chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Tosya Semyonov reaches over the shoulder of Dave Henderson and sets in a kimura. He rolls it over but has to release the hold, landing in half guard. Semyonov hits Henderson with some punches to the side of the head. Tosya Semyonov rains a flurry of strikes down on Henderson. The ref dives in to stop it.
