Martinez takes advantage and clinches. Consuelo Martinez takes Erika Martinaitiss back standing, but Erika isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Consuelo Martinez squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Martinaitis connects with a series of punches forcing Martinez into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Consuelo Martinez throws a couple of light hooks but Erika lands a large outer drop and positions to side mount.
