Round 1 Oscarito Montenegro connects with a hard punch making Tatsuo bring him in to a tight clinch. Tatsuo Shimedzu places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Oscarito takes Shimedzus back standing. Tatsuo isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Oscarito lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Tatsuo to release. Both fighters begin to exchange Oscarito catches Tatsuo with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Tatsuo gather himself. Tatsuo says he is ok and the fight continues. Montenegro connects with jab cross combination. Tatsuo sinks locks up Oscarito Montenegro and launches him over his leg, putting him into side control. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Both fighters begin to exchange Oscarito catches Tatsuo with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Tatsuo gather himself. Tatsuo says he is ok and the fight continues. Montenegro lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Montenegro winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Shimedzu starts to put on the pressure, forcing Montenegro back into the cage. Shimedzu takes advantage and clinches. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 After dodging a jab-cross, Oscarito lands a kick to the liver of Tatsuo Shimedzu who steps back and begins to take a knee. Oscarito rushes forward to capitalize but Tatsuo Shimedzu stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Oscarito connects with a hard punch making Shimedzu bring him in to a tight clinch. Tatsuo drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Montenegro sets a guillotine choke but Tatsuo slips out at the last moment. Tatsuo is now caught in guard. Oscarito Montenegro backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Oscarito circles Tatsuo Shimedzu, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Montenegro connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Oscarito Montenegro attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Shimedzu takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Round 3 is over.
