Thanks for the advice. I think with each spar you do in an stat your odds to DNI slowly go up. So if your guy has like 2.5 in something the odds are low to DNI, but if say you've sparred in something 60+ times you have little chance of improving - no matter who your training partner is.

Do you notice a major difference in training up new guys with 4.25 in a stat vs 3.75 or 4.00 in a stat? Tbh, it appears to me like it takes 5 improves, no matter what. And DNIs are rare until you try to go from 3.50-3.75
