Rey Pentagon was interviewed on recently interviewed for the MMAJunkie podcast. On his camp's success: "We have vatos getting into the next tier. PFO and CAGE. I'm, uh, happy for them. You see, when we climb the ladder, we climb the tax bracket, you know what I'm sayin'? I'm seein' more green. They're seein' more green. We are all happy. Could we be happier? Yes." Pentagon also called Funaki, a rival camp's coach, a "bitch" and for Funaki to "step on the streets" with him.
Pat Clark won the LFC BW Championship during the Sept 2943 reset (8/27/23). Rey Pentagon was not in attendance during the fight, however, tweeted the following: "Proud of Pat Clark. We are in good hands. We've upgraded out facilities to best accommodate our fighters and it's showing." Reports are that the SSCB office got new bullet proof glass installed for Pentagon's office. Other reports insist of no other upgraded facilities for the SSCB dojo.
Sasha Hudson won the LFC HW Championship during the Aug 2943 reset (8/26/23). Rey Pentagon was elated to see his fighter win gold. This was due to the championship bonus his fight camp got. Although unconfirmed, Pentagon commented on a recent Youtube video, "I'm color blind, except for green. Hudson winning gold for us was great. What'd I do with the bonus? Let's just say some of it got sent back home...to keep us all safe here. You know what I mean?" No. No one knew what he meant.
Rey Pentagon failing to find a winning fighter: "Wins mean nothing. How much money is our camp receiving? That's all that matters. Winners will come, but my patience is running thin with certain fighters. I am getting calls from my familia. They are waiting. I am tired of waiting."
Rey Pentagon on Legendary Fighting Championship: "I see too many people who have spent YEARS in LFC just looking for fresh meat. Hombres who been in the sport for years and haven't made it out of the cellar; it's a shame, man. Win or lose, I know I'mma make my money, but those fighters who spend 4,5,6 years in LFC...look yourself in the mirror, man. Time to move up or move on from the sport. You feel me?"
Rey Pentagon has purchased Strong Style Combat Club. With no MMA experience, Pentagon hopes to use SSCB as a way to earn money for his family in Mexico. He realizes the trials and tribulations to he will face and will do whatever it takes to earn money to make a name for himself and SSCB.
