Round 1 Shui eats a strong cross as Louie moves into the clinch. Shui Jin attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Louie now is in dominant side mount. Shui almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Louie slides his knee across the body of "Ying Tao" and takes full mount. Louie Ryan secures his position. Shui Jin bucks off Louie Ryan and sweeps him over taking side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Ryan snaps back the head of "Ying Tao" with a stiff jab. Louie connects with a series of punches forcing "Ying Tao" into a clinch. Ryan works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Jin works Ryan into the cage from the clinch. Jin presses his head under Ryans chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Shui Jin works for a kimura while pressing Ryan into the corner. Ryan spins out to reverse the hold and take Shui Jins back standing. He then trips Shui Jin to the floor and gains back control. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Louie throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. A knee to the midsection by Shui is seamlessly followed by a large wheel throw that puts Louie under "Ying Taos" side mount. Louie takes a few knees to the body while under Jins side control. Shui slides his knee across the body of Ryan and takes full mount. "Ying Tao" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Louie attempts to buck Jin off from mount but Jin keeps his base and maintains position. Round 3 comes to a close.
