Round 1 Ko Heo pushes away from Semyon and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Tereshchenko throws a teep backing Heo off. Tereshchenko connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ko throws a crisp jab, but Tereshchenko slips it and moves in for the clinch. Tereshchenko takes "The Anchors" back standing. Tereshchenko lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Ko is able to work his way back around. Ko Heo works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. From the clinch, Semyon Tereshchenko hurls Ko Heo over his hips dropping him hard to the mat. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Tereshchenko dodges a jab-cross combo from Heo and connects with a front snap kick, sending Heo stumbling backwards. Ko Heo dodges a jab and clinches with Tereshchenko, delivering a knee as he does so. A welt begins to form under Ko Heos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Tereshchenko. Heo throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Semyon works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Semyon attempts a violent throw but Ko holds back and quickly pounces on his back. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "The Anchor" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Heo pressures his opponent into clinching. Semyon receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Heo. Ko executes a sweeping throw, planting Tereshchenko on the mat. Ko Heo lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Tereshchenko takes a few knees to the body while under Heos side control. Tereshchenko takes a few knees to the body while under Heos side control. Round 3 is over.
