Round 1 Kuro snaps back the head of Chad Roberts with a stiff jab. Sugitani lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Chad Roberts. Sugitani starts to put on the pressure, forcing Roberts back into the cage. Sugitani takes advantage and clinches. Kuro Sugitani places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "WHAT" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Kuro Sugitani. Kuro Sugitani takes "WHATs" back standing. Kuro Sugitani lifts up Chad and dumps him on his back, taking side control. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "WHAT" lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Chad connects with a hard punch making Kuro bring him in to a tight clinch. Chad Roberts works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Roberts locks up Kuro and launches him over his leg, putting him into half guard. Chad Roberts tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Kuro Sugitani pulls the foot in of Chad using leverage to sweep him into side control. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Chad connects with a series of punches forcing Kuro Sugitani into a clinch. Kuro receieves numerous knees to the thighs from "WHAT". From the clinch, "WHAT" hurls Kuro Sugitani over his hips dropping him hard to the mat. "WHAT" is able to get into half guard. "WHAT" hits Sugitani with some punches to the side of the head. Chad Roberts is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 3 is finished.
