Round 1 "Jigsaw" throws a cross that easily dodged by Almir Begovic. Almir Begovic pressures his opponent into clinching. Begovic takes the back of Jonas who works for a kimura. Begovic pulls his arm out of the hold and push Jonas away. Almir Begovic starts to put on the pressure, forcing Jonas back into the cage. Almir Begovic takes advantage and clinches. Almir works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Jonas Jorgensen throws a couple of light hooks but Almir Begovic lands a large outer drop and positions to side mount. Jorgensen takes a few knees to the body while under Almirs side control. "Jigsaw" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Almir Begovic throws a teep backing Jorgensen off. Jonas connects with a hard punch making Almir Begovic bring him in to a tight clinch. Almir takes Jorgensens back standing. "Jigsaw" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Almir lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "Jigsaw" to release. Almir Begovic throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Almir Begovic works Jorgensen into the cage from the clinch. Almir Begovic presses his head under Jonass chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Jonas Jorgensen attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Almir now is in dominant side mount. Almir lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "Jigsaw" almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Almir throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Almir works Jonas into the cage from the clinch. Almir presses his head under Jonass chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Almir gets a trip takedown from clinch and end up in the half guard of Jonas. Almir Begovic tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Almir hits Jonas with some punches to the side of the head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
