Round 1 Ko keeps Nobu Kogo at a distance with some well timed jabs. Nobu Kogo attempts a striking combination, but Heo forces the clinch. Nobu Kogo takes Heos back standing, but Ko isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Nobu Kogo squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Ko throws a crisp jab, but Nobu slips it and moves in for the clinch. Ko takes Nobu Kogos back standing. Ko lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. "Sengoku Power" is able to work his way back around. A rising hip toss puts Nobu under Kos side control. Kogo takes a few knees to the body while under Ko Heos side control. Nobu gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "The Anchor" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Nobu Kogo is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "The Anchor" throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Kogo works to Kos back while standing. Kogo throws a couple of outside shots until Heo is able to work his way back to the clinch. While tied up Ko executes a shoulder throw giving him dominant side control. Heo lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Nobu takes a few knees to the body while under Ko Heos side control. Heos knee strike causes Kogo to lose his breath. Ko strikes with two swift knees that furthers Kogos complications. Kogo taps out.
