Round 1
"The Pretzel" lands a double jab. Ekkehardt Ritzel is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Jim. Jim gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Douglas rolls back into being mounted. "Kumite" attempts to buck Ritzel off from mount but Ritzel keeps his base and maintains position. Jim bucks Ekkehardt Ritzel off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Ekkehardt Ritzel snaps back the head of "Kumite" with a stiff jab. "The Pretzel" throws a few jabs at Jim that miss the mark. "Kumite" fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Ekkehardt Ritzel quickly takes his back. Jim rolls back into being mounted. "The Pretzel" throws some outside strikes at Jim Douglas. Ekkehardt Ritzel lands a double punch to the head of Douglas. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
After dodging a jab-cross, Jim Douglas lands a kick to the liver of "The Pretzel" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Jim Douglas rushes forward to capitalize but "The Pretzel" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. A shot is side stepped by Jim but quick reflexes and footwork lead to a second attempt that takes down Jim. Ritzel settles into his guard. Ekkehardt is caught in a tight body triangle but lands some hard punches that force Jim Douglas to loosen his guard and create distance. Ekkehardt Ritzel frees a leg and moves into half guard. "The Pretzel" slams his knee into Jim Douglass ribs. Ekkehardt Ritzel wraps the arm of Jim behind his back and traps it. Ekkehardt Ritzel pounds away with shots to the face. Douglas holds the head of Ritzel close to avoid shots. Ritzel slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. The round comes to an end.
