Round 1 Habibi narrowly dodges a cross from "Tribe of the Dead", but falls catching him in his guard. Azu Balewa attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Abdiesus Habibi slips out of it at the last moment. Azu Balewa sits up in Abdiesus Habibis open guard and spins to an leg lock. Abdiesus is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Abdiesus Habibi connects with a strong body shot combo. Abdiesus connects with a hard jab as Azu attempts a wide outside hook. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Balewa wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Abdiesus Habibi. "Tribe of the Dead" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Abdiesus for his troubles. A knee to belly allows Abdiesus to twist from his back, pulling Balewa off balance. Abdiesus then switches him to guard and stands up. Abdiesus allows Balewa to stand. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Azu connects with a strong body shot combo. Abdiesus connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Tribe of the Dead". Azu throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Abdiesus Habibi puts Azu on the mat giving his back up. Abdiesus peppers shot to the head of Balewa looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Balewa is hand playing well. Balewa starts to wiggle out of back control, Abdiesus Habibi lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Diesel" circles Azu, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Azu loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Abdiesus for the mistake. Abdiesus has side control.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Diesel" connects with a series of punches forcing Azu Balewa into a clinch. Abdiesus Habibi works Balewa into the cage from the clinch. Abdiesus Habibi presses his head under "Tribe of the Deads" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Abdiesus Habibi takes the back of Azu who works for a kimura. Abdiesus Habibi pulls his arm out of the hold and push Azu away. Habibi throws a few jabs at Balewa that miss the mark. Abdiesus takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Azu to hit him harder. Both fighters begin to exchange "Diesel" catches Azu with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Azu gather himself. Azu says he is ok and the fight continues. Balewa is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Abdiesus Habibi explodes with a flurry of punches. Balewa is then thrown to the floor. Habibi lays into Balewa with some stomps. Balewa can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
