After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. De Villiers receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Shane dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Gesrel De Villiers standing over him. Gesrel De Villiers attempts to drop a fist on Shane, but misses and lands in his guard. Shane lands a stiff elbow while on his back. While caught in Shane Lindseys guard, "PePe Le Un" gets hit with a vicious elbow. "The Blowfish" connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. "The Blowfish" attempts a striking combination, but "PePe Le Un" forces the clinch. "The Blowfish" throws a short elbow at "PePe Le Un". Gesrel De Villiers escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "PePe Le Un" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Gesrel circles "The Blowfish", landing jabs and crosses at will. "The Blowfish" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "PePe Le Un" sends "The Blowfish" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Lindsey lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Lindsey attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Lindsey gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Shane carefully protects himself from Gesrels strikes. Gesrel parries "The Blowfishs" jab and lands a hook that floors Shane. "PePe Le Un" stands over Shane, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Shane is able to grab an arm and pull "PePe Le Un" into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 4.

De Villiers grabs for a clinch but Shane Lindsey grazes him with an uppercut. De Villiers staggers back, then surprises Shane Lindsey with a powerful superman punch. Shane Lindsey lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook from "PePe Le Un" that puts him on the floor. The bell signals the end of round 5.
