Round 1
Scott Lange connects with a jab cross combination. Luke winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. A wild hook from Scott Lange is ducked by Luke Cooney who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Luke Cooney pressures his opponent into clinching. Cooney directs the head of Scott leading to a stiff knee to the face. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Luke is defended well by Scott. Luke grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Luke returns to the clinch. Cooney grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Scott Lange under the eye. Cooney works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Cooney connects with numerous jabs to the face of Lange. Cooney throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Luke Cooney takes Langes back standing. Luke Cooney lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Scott Lange is able to work his way back around. Two short elbows from the clinch put Scott off balance. Luke holds him up, landing two more quick elbows. Luke continues to maintain the clinch, creating space often for strong elbows. Scott is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Luke throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Scott is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Cooney fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Lange. Cooney lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Luke works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Scott Lange places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Luke is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. The round comes to an end.
