Round 1 Darren Stevenson attempts to clinch, but Emil connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Stevenson connects with a hard punch making Emil bring him in to a tight clinch. Stevenson executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. Emil Lund attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Emil Lund lands a lunging, looping hook to "Big Ds" temple. Darren Stevenson parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Lund unleashes a flurry of punches on Stevenson. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Darren Stevenson dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Stevenson snaps back the head of Lund with a stiff jab. Stevenson is sent backwards from a series of punches from Emil. Emil attempts a lazy shot, which Darren sprawls, eventually taking Emil back. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Emil narrowly dodges a cross from "Big D", but falls catching him in his guard. Emil is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Darren Stevenson transitions to half guard. Darren Stevenson is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Emil Lund pulls Darren close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Lund gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Emil tries to stand up but Darren plants him back down with several strikes. Darren attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Emil rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. The round comes to an end.
