Round 1 "Galileo" continually moves away from Simon, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Gallegos parries Simon Longs jab and lands an uppercut. "Galileo" keeps Long at a distance with some well timed jabs. Simon Long snaps back the head of Charito Gallegos with a stiff jab. "Going" throws a leg kick. Charito shin checks the kick. He then leaps up to land a crushing knee strike to the chin of "Going". "Going" stumbles back. Long lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Charito Gallegos stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. Simon lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Gallegos. Long counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Charito Gallegos throws a powerful cross that hits right on the button, putting Long down.
