Round 1 Beaton looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Angus lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Angus Cross lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Hunter Beaton. Cross blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Hunter Beaton tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Angus Cross kicks at the legs of Beaton and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Beaton to stand. A lazy leg kick from Hunter Beaton is caught by Angus Cross who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Hunter Beaton. Cross dances around Hunter Beatons legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Angus lays into Hunter Beatons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Hunter Beaton does so. Angus parries Beatons jab and lands an uppercut. A series of unanswered punches from Angus Cross forces the ref to stop the action.
