Round 1 Angus connects with a hard punch making Hunter Beaton bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Cross takes Hunter Beatons back standing. Beaton isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Cross lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Beaton to release. Beaton throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Angus Cross. Cross parries Beatons jab and lands a hook. Hunter hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Angus Cross is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Beaton tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Angus Cross that puts him on the floor. Angus lays into Hunters thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Beaton does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Cross throws a hard jab but Hunter Beaton throws a cross right over the top rocking Cross. Cross fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Hunter quickly takes his back. Cross carefully protects himself from Hunters strikes. Angus slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Cross blocks a strong high kick from Hunter and counters with a devastating left hook. A wild hook from Cross is ducked by Beaton who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. A shot attempt from Hunter Beaton is sidestepped by Angus who counters with a hard spear of his own. Angus throws an outside hook that lands flush allowing him to stand up to tower over Hunter Beaton. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Angus Cross parries Hunters jab and lands a liver shot. Cross shuffles away from Beatons strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Hunter backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Angus snaps back the head of Hunter Beaton with a stiff jab. Beaton is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Cross connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Angus Cross connects with a hard jab as Beaton attempts a wide outside hook.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Angus Cross throws a cross that easily dodged by Beaton. Beaton throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Angus is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Cross hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Hunter Beaton is staggered by a jab to the chin. Cross parries Beatons jab and connect with a cross. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Hunter Beaton snaps back the head of Cross with a stiff jab. Beaton throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Cross works to Hunters back while standing. Cross throws a couple of outside shots until Hunter is able to work his way back to the clinch. Hunter Beaton lands some solid knees to the legs of Angus from the clinch. Hunter Beaton lands a powerful knee to the face of Angus Cross. Angus attempts a violent throw but Hunter holds back and quickly pounces on his back. Round 5 is over.
