Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "Dos Cigaros PorFavor" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Castro lands a devastating overhand right on Max. Mauro Castro lands a double jab. Both fighters begin to exchange Castro catches Max Thompson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Max Thompson gather himself. Max Thompson says he is ok and the fight continues. Mauro Castro blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Round 3 Mauro connects with a hard punch making Thompson bring him in to a tight clinch. Thompson attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Mauro Castro. Mauro takes the back of Thompson who works for a kimura. Mauro pulls his arm out of the hold and push Thompson away. "Dos Cigaros PorFavor" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Mauro sends a hard up kick that rocks Max. Mauro stands back up. A lazy leg kick from Mauro Castro is caught by Max Thompson who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Mauro Castro. Max lays into Mauro Castros thighs with some well timed kicks while "Dos Cigaros PorFavor" is grounded. Max kicks at the legs of Mauro Castro and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Mauro Castro to stand. Max circles Castro, landing jabs at will. Thompson feints and follows up with a hard crossto the head of Mauro. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
