Round 1 Angus Cross connects with a hard punch making Cal bring him in to a tight clinch. Cross places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. While tied up, Cal Snyder is met with a hard uppercut. Cal just misses with a head kick, grazing Anguss skull. Cal Snyder connects with jab cross combination. Angus Cross hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Snyder. Angus connects with a right that puts Cal Snyder off balance tumbling to the mat, as Angus towers over him. Angus kicks at the legs of Cal and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Cal to stand. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Cal Snyder lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Angus does a good job to circle away from Snyder but becomes too predictable and Snyder lands a switch kick to Crosss ribs. Cross throws a hard jab but Cal Snyder throws a cross right over the top rocking Cross. Cross winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Cal lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Cross. Angus parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Angus connects with a right that puts Cal Snyder off balance tumbling to the mat, as Angus towers over him. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Snyder connects with a teep to the face of Angus Cross. Snyder connects with a hard punch making Angus Cross bring him in to a tight clinch. Cal Snyder works to Angus Crosss back while standing. Cal Snyder throws a couple of outside shots until Cross is able to work his way back to the clinch. Angus receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Cal. Cal takes the back of Cross who works for a kimura. Cal pulls his arm out of the hold and push Cross away. Cross parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Snyder turns to the side and bounces up and down in anticipation. A roundhouse is dodged by Cross who tries to capitalize. Cal Snyder follows his momentum and lands a spinning side kick that catch Cross in the belly. Angus clinches with Cal and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Cal for a trip takedown, landing Angus is half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Angus connects with a hard punch making Snyder bring him in to a tight clinch. Snyder works Angus into the cage from the clinch. Snyder presses his head under Anguss chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Snyder breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Snyder turns to the side and bounces up and down in anticipation. Snyder connects with jab cross combination. Cross is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Cal welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Cross back to striking distance. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Cal bounces up and down keeping his distance from Angus Cross. Cal quickly spins with a low roundhouse kick that sweeps out the legs of Angus Cross. As Angus Cross tries to keep his balance Cal spins again with a higher spinning roundhouse kick that misses the head. Angus Cross jumps back to the feet. Cal connects with a hard punch making Angus bring him in to a tight clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Cross dazed. Snyder directs the head of Angus Cross leading to a stiff knee to the face. Angus Cross takes Cals back standing. Cal isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Angus Cross lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Cal to release. Cal Snyder throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Angus. Angus Cross eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Cal Snyder. Cross throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Cal Snyder. Cal circles Angus Cross, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. The bell signals the end of round 5.
